Texas Bible Bowl will be Bandina Christian Youth Camp (Camp Bandina) located on Highway 16 between Bandera and Medina, TX along the Medina River. This facility can accommodate our growing numbers. We are very excited about what this will do for the future of Texas Bible Bowl and the furthering of our vision. Click to see a map of the facilities. bandina_map_2021.pdf
Brief History
In April of 2010 the first Texas Bible Bowl was held at the Marble Falls Church of Christ church building. We were and are very thankful to the leadership and congregation in Marble Falls for allowing us to use their facilities for four years. We will always be grateful for the space and support that we were given starting this endeavor. Due to our growth and vision for the future of Texas Bible Bowl we were no longer able to host Texas Bible Bowl at the Marble Falls Church of Christ church building.
We were lucky enough to find a place still in Marble Falls, TX that would fulfill our purposes and more. That place was Camp of the Hills. And so in 2014, Texas Bible Bowl met for the first time at Camp of the Hills. What this new location did was it allowed for all participants to stay together in the camp, which gave us more time to fellowship with each other and get to know other Christians outside our home town and congregation. It also helped to bring down costs for everyone involved, because it took out the cost of staying in hotels. After only meeting at Camp of the Hills for two years, to our surprise and enjoyment we have out grown the facilities there as well.
